ABOUT US

State of Environment – UG is an Environmental TV Show and global online discussion for Institutions, CSOs, UN and other International Development Agencies, Companies, Individuals and the General Public who are committed to develop a common Communication platform for Environment Business in Uganda and beyond.

The Show takes general viewers through diverse Environmental issues both home and abroad from the people’s point of view on Environment and its Sustainability, with best Environmental Filmmakers, Photographers and Investigators who brings the Show with innovative, investigative tales and unforgettable events. With unique and often unexpected access, the stories ignite discussions and open dialogues about environmental issues relevant in today’s society.

It covers  Current Affairs both home and abroad focusing on Environment and its Sustainability and in-depth analysis of all practical activities on Environmental Degradation and its Management, Climate Change effects (Global Warming), Sustainable Development Goals review, Global Disaster Event Indices, Energy Industry (Renewable & Non Renewable  Technology), Waste Management and its Sustainability, Recycling Industry, Food Security & Agriculture, Water, Health and Sanitation, Urban Risk & Planning,  Social Impacts & Resilience, Risk Identification & Assessment, Economics of  Disaster Risk Reduction, Enviro-Climate Change Conferences/Trainings Updates, UN and International Development Agencies, Civil Society Organisations groups’ intervention on Enviro-Climate Change business.

Hosted by Anthony Twinomugisha a renowned Climate Change & Environment Development  Analyst and Investigative Writer/Broadcaster, the show connects biggest names in Enviro-Climate Scientists alongside other Professionals, SDGs and Environmental Advocates, Business and Technology leaders, (Bi-Partisan) Political leaders and live Participants as Show Contributors on one platform to discuss the epic challenges we are facing, the progress we are making, and the events we are witnessing with the Global Environmental Crisis.

The Show demonstrates sensitivity and understanding of the Enviro-Climate  Change events, projects which shape the everyday lives of the viewers, key Uganda’s and Global Environmental issues are captured and  discussed in details. Panelists, Guests, Participants and Contributors of the show collaborate and drive the future of Show, expanding the Model to the National, Regional and Global Level, as well as making it the preferred Communications model and, ultimately, the Global Enviro-Climate Change Voice platform.

Filmed and recorded in an Area of focus, it therefore showcases Uganda’s and Global Community efforts towards Environmental Conservation and its Challenges. Produced in series, created by a team of experts who are also Investigators alongside other Environmentalists from Centre for Environmental Sustainability and Initiative (CESI) it stars different expert guests.

Terms and Conditions

By downloading or using State of Environment TV Show content (‘the Content’) you agree to be bound by the terms set out below (‘the Syndication Terms’). These Syndication Terms may be updated by Centre for Environmental Sustainability and Initiative from time to time. Your download and/or use of the Content indicates your agreement to the following Syndication Terms.

  1. All title, ownership rights and intellectual property rights shall remain the property of Centre for Environmental Sustainability and Initiative and its TV Show project.
  2. You will inform Centre for Environmental Sustainability and Initiative (CESI) if you are planning on using State of Environment TV Show Content including video footages before production, including information about the title, production date and context in which you are using the Content. Please allow two days for approval. If you intend to use specifically State of Environment TV Show content, we ask that this is in exchange for public viewing on your website and you must credit us as follows: This video footage originally featured in State of Environment TV Show, Uganda’s Environmental TV Show produced by Centre for Environmental Sustainability and Initiative. Please also include a link to our homepage.
  3. You shall not claim any exclusivity in relation to the Content or in relation to its association with either.
  4. You shall not claim or imply any of Centre for Environmental Sustainability and Initiative or State of Environment TV Show endorsement of the user or its useful activities.
  5. Centre for Environmental Sustainability and Initiative and State of Environment TV Show will take all reasonable steps to ensure the accuracy of the Content but we do not guarantee that it will be free from error.
  6. Where you display Centre for Environmental Sustainability and Initiative or State of Environment TV Show audio or video assets, the quality of service shall be of a standard acceptable to the Company and its TV Show, including technical integrity, video, picture and audio quality and service delivery.
  7. You shall not use the Content to bring Centre for Environmental Sustainability and Initiative or State of Environment TV Show into disrepute.
  8. You shall have acceptable security for the Content you host to prevent unauthorized alterations (e.g. hacking).
  9. You warrant to Centre for Environmental Sustainability and Initiative that:
  10. You have fully complied with, and shall continue to comply fully with, all applicable laws and regulations;
  11. (ii) Your website shall contain no material which is libelous, defamatory, pornographic, and obscene or which brings Centre for Environmental Sustainability and Initiative or State of Environment TV Show into disrepute, or which is in breach of any third party intellectual property rights.
  12. You hereby agree to indemnify, hold harmless and defend Centre for Environmental Sustainability and Initiative in respect of all damages, costs and expenses, including reasonable legal fees and litigation expenses, arising out of or as a result of any breach of the Syndication Terms or otherwise in connection with your use of the Content.
  13. Centre for Environmental Sustainability and Initiative may restrict, suspend or terminate your use of the Content at any time without liability.
  14. Should you receive any enquiries which relate to Centre for Environmental Sustainability and Initiative or State of Environment TV Show or the Content you should promptly refer such enquiries to: http://www.cesiug.org/soetvshow/inquiry for both (Centre for Environmental Sustainability and Initiative and State of Environment TV Show).
